UIT is a trenchless utility installation firm having performed a variety of tunneling and boring projects, drainage improvements, slipline installations, subgrade stabilization and ground improvement projects. UIT combines years of practical underground and technical geotechnical experience to provide turnkey tunneling solutions that include not only trenchless installation, but a variety of geotechnical services to facilitate installations in challenging conditions. In the past 10+ years, we have successfully completed wet and dry utility installation projects ranging from $5,000 to $10,000,000 with diameters spanning from 20” to over 142” in diameter. UIT routinely performs methods such as Auger Boring, Microtunnel, Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), Pipe Ramming, Conventional Hand Tunneling and Sliplining.
