This project involved multiple guided auger bores designed to help convey wastewater from the North Area Lift Station to Broomfield Wastewater Treatment Plant. The bores involved 48″- and 36″-diameter steel casing, all of which occurred under existing roadways/highways. Under Highway 7, UIT bored 185 LF of 48″-diameter; under E-470 UIT bored 345 LF and 295 LF of 30″-diameter casing; and finally an additional 222 LF of 36″-diameter steel casing under Northeast Parkway.
