Located in a highly dense urban location with multiple utilities in the work zone as well as complicated traffic control and multiple crossings under light rail and railroad, this project required careful planning, safety considerations, and scheduling.UIT bored 405 LF with slurry microtunneling using a 36″-diameter MTBM. Completion of the project involved a 32″-diameter steel casing pipe and the associated 20”-diameter carrier pipe.
