UIT rehabilitated this critical distribution pipeline by constructing a large diameter steel slipliner inside the existing concrete siphon. Once the pipe segments were lowered into the siphon with a winch, the segments were welded together from the inside. UIT then grouted the annular space between the steel liner and carrier pipe and applied a polyurethane liner.
