This project took place in a highly complex environment immediately adjacent to volatile refinery operations, a sensitive ecological environment and multiple metro utility lines. Requiring an intense amount of project coordination, submittals, permitting and logistical challenges, we employed an MTBM boring method for the installation of 30” steel casing, over a total of 50 linear feet.
As a boring contractor for the general contractor (GC), we also installed the GC’s high-density polyethylene (HDPE) carrier pipe, all of which taking place underneath existing 60” and 48” utility lines.
